milk, is not expected to cause serious side effects. "It's something that

spread, the animal studies show often be toxic for the body to be tested.
During the study, Thormar and pharmacists Thordis Kristmundsdottir
test monocaprin dissolved in hydrogel, a water-soluble gel and mixed with human
semen that contains harmful bacteria and viruses.
In an article published in the journal Sexually Transmitted
Infections, researchers said gel to destroy the HIV virus, herpes, and
gonorrhea-causing bacteria within one minute. The same compound destroys
chlamydia virus within five minutes.
Thormar and his colleagues plan to conduct animal studies to test
the effectiveness of the hydrogel on herpes virus and chlamydia.
To the researchers will also conduct further research for use in
humans.
