than normal days. This is because during menstruation, the cervix opens so that

enter and spread to her pelvis.
• Women are also more likely to
have HIV and hepatitis transmission
through sexual contact of a partner
during the menstrual period.
• Bacterial infections also can occur during
menstruation, because the pH (acidity) of the vagina changes compared to the
days before or after menstruation.
Can Stay Pregnant When having sex while menstruating
There is a growing myth that if
a woman had sexual intercourse during menstruation, she will not get pregnant.
This way is wrong and dangerous. According to Dr. Berman, a woman can still
become pregnant when having sex while menstruating. So forget about it this
way, because it is not a method of birth control, pregnancy should be advised
to avoid using condoms also reduce the risk of transmission of various types of
diseases.
